Today I have spent all my time climbing buildings, taking pictures, breaking and entering, biking, writing a paper on Vlad the Impaler, cutting my hair, and brainstorming what will hopefully be a new column in the Antagonist. I'm also looking into buying a Super 8 Camera for 100 bucks. I have some ideas, I guess.

So Cheyenne, Ian, and I had out second show last night at Rhino's. It was okay, I guess, but other people seemed to like it. The band that played before us sounded like Nickelback, and over half the audience were their friends who sat down the entire time. Evan and McCarry did their thing, which involves dancing around to keyboard demo's and singing the Star Spangled Banner. Apparently Tim might book us to open for the Delicious, which would be awesome and terrifying.

I'm leaving Bloomington at the end of next schoolyear. I'm moving to Berkeley to most likely live in a renovated crackhouse in the flats with my mom and her boyfriend, who did I mention is still married? It's going to be weird. Oddly enough Cheyenne might be moving out to Berkeley as well to avoid having to live with her parents in Norway, so she'd live with us wherever we are. It's going to be cramped, especially since real estate is sooo expensive in California. I'll be there most of this summer too, picking olives and volunteering at Long Haul.

The land out in Napa were I might work. In case you didn't know, Napa is basically were all the really rich white people live, and pretend to not see the migrant workers who they've built their fortunes on the backs of.

First I'd like to ask if anyone out there has access to a photocopier, if I could maybe run off some zines some time. Printing prices really are astronomical. Fortunately I already have a distro and a store that are interested in Junebug #2. Hooray!

Ians dad got this incredible old Polaroid camera at the recycling center a long time ago, and it just needs a battery to be up and running.

My salamander-like blood circulation does not serve me well as we steadily approach the colder months. I am never, ever warm. I've had slow blood circulation since I was born, but I guess it's better than most of the stuff I was born with. Apparently I was some sickly little diseased baby, and it was so bad I had to have a spinal tap. Gross. Tonight I ate simply a bag of sliced baguette pieces Cheyenne and Mariah left at my house. Delicious. The Darjeeling Limited is either my first or second favorite Wes Anderson, I can't decide. I tried my hand at fiction, and it was pure shit. All the songs we write are just rhymed words, they don't actually mean anything. All I can think of today is how James Joyce writes a stream of thought and this seems to have affected this entry. The 20 minutes between when I leave my house and arrive at school are officially the best part of the day, sprinting through the fog listening to Ghost Mice cassettes. I wish I could write better, photograph better, and play (harmonica) better than i currently can. In short I am frustrated. I think I am eating too much starch.

I found out about this great band in California called the Wrong Torusers and they're great. They like to hang out in parks and play mandolin/harp/accoustic bass covers of "Video Killed the Radio Star". This is the super cool quirky kind of band full of band kids totally rockin out.

I've been up in the mountains for the last ten or so days. I've met up with a lot of people I used to know from around the village and the festival. There's this kid who last year had the most terrible acne, but this year it's completely gone, except for one scar that looks like a bullet wound. Unfortunately the one coffee place that was run by these punks from New Zealand who would play songs like "I'm Fingering Your Asshole at full volume while the rich white folk would walk in for their mid day cafe au lait and promptly leave after hearing the musical selection. It's been turned into some yuppie cafe full of all these little scented things and 90 dollar teapots. They even bought out the shop next door to make extra sitting room. And now everything costs two dollars more.
